Your Invited to the Vision Exchange Kick Start Event

I am writing to you to invite you and your business to the Vision Exchange Kick Start event, taking place at Walsall College. The jobs fair is part of Douglas’ Vision Exchange Programme directly linked to his personal beliefs about work and his passion of the British education system. Douglas is keen to support unemployed youth in the area, helping them to gain an experience of the working world. The Vision Exchange Kick Start event aims to invite all 1,200 unemployed people between the ages of 18-24, as well as school leavers who are looking for career advice.

We are inviting some of Walsall’s biggest employers, traineeship providers and organisations providing apprenticeships. We are also inviting people to speak throughout the day, giving young people the opportunity to hear more about certain careers or industries.

The event will be taking place at Walsall College, 19th March, 10:00am-2:00pm. The event has been given support by the Express and Star, along with Walsall’s new Big Centre TV. Nick Boles MP, Minister for Business, Skills and Innovation has also confirmed he is attending and will be speaking at the event.

We are looking for 10 companies to help by providing us with a senior member of the company and a young recruit to attend and speak about opportunities in the business or career, or even act as a mentor to younger people who have not yet found their footing.

We hope to see you there.

Douglas Hansen-Luke

Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Walsall North
